Another one of my favorite quotes. this time by assignment

One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.
– Maya Angelou
I love quotes little bits of wisdom from people we admire. Maya Angelou is someone you just can’t help but respect and admire. Knowing a little bit about her life makes you want to listen to what she has to say and take her words to heart.

One of my favorite quotes

Enter your blog post here…I have this little book that I love called "The Blessings of Love"

128 quotes by Mother Theresa.  I read it as often as nessesary, which is quite often lately.  If you knew me you would know that I’m not catholic nor am I what people would call particularly religious, but I do believe and I believe that she (Mother Theresa) is one of the few who ever came close to knowing what it’s all about.  Anyway, this is the quote.

"Do not give in to discouragement…If you are discouraged it is a sign of pride because it shows you trust in your own powers.  Never bother about people’s opinions. Be humble, and you will never be disturbed."  Easier said than done but it never hurts to be reminded.

List of six Quirks

Enter your blog post here…

1) Post these rules on your blog 2) tell about yoour six quirks 3)tag six bloggers to do the same, the lucky winners are…4)Leave them a comment to let them know you’ve tagged them so they can participate.

As far as quirks go it is going to be hard to choose just six!  1) laundry quirk: must not mix clothing.  Jeans with jeans socks with socks, pinks with pinks ect.. fabrics with like fabrics.  I am always doing laundry because of this. 2) I make things out to be harder than they are even though I often say, It doesn’t have to be this hard.3) I’ve been known to drive my kids to school in my jammies, a few years back i’d warm the car up in order for my kids to be more comfortable waiting, the rule was can’t go passed the mailboxes with my robe on.(I may be sorry for telling on my self, oh well)3) I gulp when I drink coffee 4) I am a match freak, but I hate it 5) I am flighty, forget everything, even where I park 5) a walking talking contradiction, for instance I am hypervigilent about my kid’s safty so I may seem strict but in most other situations I’m very lenient. ( hair, kids making a big mess with friends ect..6)Ihate Walmart, avoid it like the plague  (will go only if nothing else is open but hate myself for it) Lucky winners are… sorry but I havn’t figured this out yet… Add to the list, slow to catch on. (;

Why I write

Enter your blog post here…   I write to express myself or to remind myself of all that needs to get done.  I write lists, even though I usually foget them at home (most often the list for the grocery store). I write because it is required as least while I’m in school.  I’d like to become a better writer to be able to express myself better.  I still write letters on occasion although I have good intentions few are ever sent. I write notes to the school’s my daughters’ attend to excuse them from class, I write notes to them in case they forget the game plan of the day.
